Weight training is a form of physical training where an individual lifts weights against the force of gravity in gradual increments in order to get stronger, bigger, or can endure for longer.
Weight training consists of much more than just lifting weights though. It depends on what your goals are and your reasons for lifting weights. Your goals and reasons determine how you should be going about weight training. A wide range of different goals can be achieved by modulating the amount of weight, the number of reps, and the manner in which the weights are lifted. Your goal could be body building and size building, strength building, endurance enhancement, and all of these goals can be achieved by modulating your method of training. Depending on your goals, weight training can also consist of calisthenics, but the paramount requirement for weight training is your form, consciousness, and mind-muscle connection, which are concepts that we will be getting into as a part of your training.
