Parkour is the artform of getting from point A to point B in the fastest and most efficient way possible through the use of running, jumping, vaulting, and others without the use of equipment.

The artform of Parkour and Free running was initiated as a means of military training during World War-I by Jeorges Hebert for helping soldiers overcome obstacles that they may encounter in the battlefield and this was known as “La Methode naturelle”.

The skills acquired through Parkour include running, jumping, climbing, vaults, rolls, and many more. Free-running adds a creative flair which consists of various flips, kicks and tricks. Parkour and free running is deeply intertwined with Calisthenics as Strength, mobility, and flexibility are essentials for being able to practice these art forms.
