CALISTHENICS

The word calisthenics originates from the ancient Greek words “kállos” (κάλλος), meaning "beauty," and “sthenos” (σθένος), meaning "strength."

It is an art-form which requires a person to use their own body weight as resistance to gain strength. Calisthenics comprises of exercises like pull-ups, push-ups, squats, jumps, planches, and many more. These exercises improve functional strength, and are helpful with sports performance and all daily activities. Such training also improves mobility and flexibility over time, helps reduce the risk of injuries, and gives you the gift of being able to move your body around with ease.
